My name is Ron (aka rockinronnie) and I am the admin for this forum. Before this forum I ran www.statusquoforum.com and if this takes off I will transfer that domain name to this forum
I have been into Quo since the early 70's and love all their various incarnations and sounds. Although if I am honest I am less fussy about the 90's output but think they have come back to forum with Heavy traffic and everything since. Seen them play live 7 or 8 times and loved the last one (frantic four reunion at Manchester) more than any other. So much so, I dont think I want to go to any more concerts in case they don't match up
My favourite album is actually a compilation - The Rest Of Status Quo. I got this as a cassette tape it just ROCKS! But my favourite studio album would be very close between Blue for You and Piledriver. Blue for you is more sentimental to me I suppose so would get the nod
I am just a bedroom player with a stratocaster, fatrat practice amp and a Boss multi pedal and it all does me just fine
I have been playing guitar since I was 16, and I am still very poor. Gets harder actually as old age stop the hands working as well

My dream for the end of Quo - to see every member of the band past and present on the same stage at the last ever gig. As the encore ends, they all stand on the stage in the "Tank" formation with teles playing Rick's intro to Caroline as the stage sinks from view in dry ice .
