I have done my best to transcibe this from ricks dvd.
points

one: A total guess a chromatic walk in to verse( makes sence since thats one of there trade marks)

i have added chromatic walk in(due to the record ) to the chorus, i think rick did that on the dvd but not explained?

two:
i went back to the record the ending is 1 ,4 5 chord progresion(ie A=1st chord, D=4th chord and E=5th chord all major) but sound like 5.4 1 in the key of A so i put that as the ending

i hope i have covered this all the parts needed

and hope it helps with dvd

Riff 2 is using the Harp minor scale(  sharping the 6th of the Minor scale to get the harp scale 0

hence 12,10,9,7,5.2, o on the D String ( capo at 2nd put in the E Harp scale ) 

try the these without the triplets , the try the  DUD , UDU picking pastern  ( 12 D 0 Up D 0 ) the ( 10 U, 0 D O up) and so on.
