suggestions for what could be added as threads

As we all know this is starting to get up a running.

Just kick start this off


I think a tread for how to read a TAB might work in this section

As I could put a pdf lesson. As it might help beginners to read tabs.

Example how read a tab( A tab I like a map , need to 2 things 1, string number that is tuned to. 2nd position of the fret on that string  like 6th string E , 5th  fret.

the other thing is the 6 lines

 

Then a PDF could be added to explain how read a chord an so on.

That would be the outlay. Then once they have a grasp of Tab, then could move on to 12 bar progressions( as with some early quo songs)




2 a suggestions tread , hence stuff that may need deeper explations, or confusion to techniques. 
As we will be aware that we can forget things,.

I like to think of this a Business, we want keep costumers, and they might spread the word to others and son.

Well I wish this new site all the success for the future , and hope it grow and share thoughts .

Happy to create more boards as needed

1) With the "How to read Tabs" : do you not think it would be better in the how to play section as it is more general where as the SOngs section is specific to the actual songs?:

Shall I create a board specifically for that or just a thread that you could start?

2) Not sure what you mean, do you mean a board where people can ask for specific help not related to the actual songs?

Just a tread please Ronnie. My thinking is that I can keep that in one place. Since it ties up it up with tabs.

2nd suggestions page, hence they can suggest thing that we may have missed on.

Like if someone cam along and asked for Drummer section and so on.

or Trib band section and so on.

I could see the point that different musician want differ thing, I would not have a clue about drums, Harps , singing and so on.


If I was an outsider I may be the impression that it was one sided , Guitars. One look and think nope , I want to learn drums , keys and so on.

Anyway hope clears up the thought.

I have look at YouTube, seem more Guitar @ bass, covers. But Drums @ Keyboards not much out there.

Hence these thing might pop in the future.
