Francis Rossi from Status Quo has revealed how much he enjoyed his performance on Coronation Street.
Rossi and bandmate Rick Parfitt made an appearance in the soap in 2005 when Les Battersby spotted them on the way to his wedding and persuaded them to perform at the reception.
Asked if he would like to make another cameo on the Street, Rossi told Holy Soap: "F***ing right! I enjoyed it. It was different, and really good."
The 61-year-old rocker, who is promoting his new album Quid Pro Quo, explained that he and Parfitt were not fans of the programme until they watched 15 minutes one day and "loved it".
He added: "It was truly great. I missed it when we left. It was akin to making records. The first take: Oh my God! Second take: Oh it's getting better. Third take, you've got a record. They really work hard there."http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s3/coronation-street/news/a320 428/status-quo-want-coronation-street-return.html
My dream for the end of Quo - to see every member of the band past and present on the same stage at the last ever gig. As the encore ends, they all stand on the stage in the "Tank" formation with teles playing Rick's intro to Caroline as the stage sinks from view in dry ice .
